From our organization as a parish in 1815 to today, St. John's Church has provided a powerful symbol of faith in the heart of our nation's capital.

Located at the corner of 16th and H Streets in Northwest Washington, St. John's is near the McPherson Square and Farragut North Metro stations. Limited street parking is available; free valet parking is offered for certain hours.

The Rt. Rev. Gene Robinson to Visit St. John’s

The Rt. Rev. Gene Robinson will visit St. John’s Church on Sunday, November 8. He will serve as guest preacher at the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist and Sermon services.

He will also join us as the Adult Forum guest speaker at 10:00 a.m. He will discuss the topic Religious Liberty/Freedom: A Right or a Trojan Horse? The Adult Forum, St. John’s adult education program, takes place from September through May, at 10 a.m. most Sundays. The session features scholars, poets, and leaders in our world, and in the world of faith. Admission to the Adult Forum is free of charge, and no tickets are needed to attend.
