Toy Drive

Please return all gifts and books by December 11

The annual Christmas Toy Drive is coming to a close.  There are just a few angels left on the tree. Please consider taking an angel and filling a child’s Christmas wish! The deadline for returning gifts is extended to December 11 to accommodate the remaining angels. If you wish to purchase books from the Amazon.com wish list, they can be shipped directly to St. John’s (see instructions below). Gift distribution will begin on December 15, so it is important that we have all donations on time.  When you take an angel, please leave your name and contact information so we can keep track of donations. You can also help by joining us to wrap the gifts on Saturday, December 12. If you have questions, please contact Lisa Russo at lisa.beury@gmail.com. Instructions for Accessing Toy Drive Book List on Amazon.com:

  1. On the Amazon home page, select “Wish Lists” > “Find a Wish List or Registry” from the menu options.
  2. Under “Wish List” enter “St. John’s Church-DC”.
  3. Select the appropriate list for the age/grade of your child from the list on the left.
  4. Make your selection.

If you choose to ship directly to St. John’s, select the Gift Registry Address (Rev. Andrew Olivo) on the shipping address page, designate the item as a gift, and enter the name of the child or “extra book” in the gift note box.

Please return all gifts and books by December 6. Thank you for your generosity in making a child’s Christmas brighter!
