From our organization as a parish in 1815 to today, St. John's Church has provided a powerful symbol of faith in the heart of our nation's capital.

Directions & Parking

Located at the corner of 16th and H Streets in Northwest Washington, St. John's is near the McPherson Square and Farragut North Metro stations. Limited street parking is available; free valet parking is offered for certain hours.

Music Festival Service

Sunday, February 7 at 11 a.m.

Featuring the music of composer Will Todd, including the premiere of Brightest and Best, commissioned in honor of the Bicentennial of St. John’s Church and in memory of Benjamin Hutto. The service music will include the Gloria and Sanctus from Todd’s innovative Mass in Blue.

Will Todd will be here from England to assist in leading both the St. John’s and Parish Choirs and the Dan Dufford Jazz Ensemble for this Music Festival Service.
