Bluegrass Music Festival

We are celebrating the last Sunday before Lent with a Bluegrass Music Festival at Sunday’s 11:00 a.m. service. The Parish Choir will be joined by North Carolina bluegrass band, the Chatham Rabbits.

Husband-and-wife duo Sarah and Austin McCombie have emerged as one of North Carolina’s most beloved folk music ensembles. In April 2022, PBS will release an eight-episode TV series called “On the Road with the Chatham Rabbits.”

We are delighted to welcome them to St. John’s as we explore the unique contributions of the bluegrass tradition in American sacred music.
