From our organization as a parish in 1815 to today, St. John's Church has provided a powerful symbol of faith in the heart of our nation's capital.

Located at the corner of 16th and H Streets in Northwest Washington, St. John's is near the McPherson Square and Farragut North Metro stations. Limited street parking is available; free valet parking is offered for certain hours.

Choral Evensong

Choral Evensong in Celebration of Black History Month

Thursday, February 17, at 5:15 p.m.

February’s service of Choral Evensong will be sung in celebration of Black History Month. The St. John’s Choir will offer music by black composers including Trevor Weston, David Hurd, Undine Smith Moore, and Colin Lett. The choir will be joined by guest organist Jordan Prescott of Grace and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Baltimore.

Parking validation is available in the S&P Parking Garage at 1625 I Street NW. Have your parking validated at the greeters table before or after the service.
