Join us for a Sustainable Meal

This Sunday the Care of Creation Committee will be hosting a meal made from ingredients as many as possible locally grown and the production of which is low in carbon generation.  Being locally grown means fewer emissions in transportation and likely in production itself.  It can certainly mean greater freshness.  Because our menu is plant-based, it still provides needed protein but none of the carbon emissions a meat-based menu would generate.  And it’s tasty!  Join us after the 11:00 service, meet some of our advocates, and let us show you the national Church’s new carbon tracking tool, as well as other ways to prepare and eat food more sustainably and wholesomely.
