Directions & Parking

Located at the corner of 16th and H Streets in Northwest Washington, St. John's is near the McPherson Square and Farragut North Metro stations. Limited street parking is available; free valet parking is offered for certain hours.

Rector Transition

On October 17, 2017, the Rev. Dr. Luis León, rector of St. John's Church, announced his retirement in May 2018.

Wrap and Deliver Easter Lilies

Join members of the Pastoral Care Committee on Saturday, March 26 at 10 a.m. in the Parish House to wrap lilies for those in our parish family who are either homebound or in need of our care and attention. Please take time to deliver.

Landscaping Update

The Properties Committee proposes to refresh the landscaping both on the 16th Street plaza and along the H Street sidewalk of the church.  Some plantings are overgrown and/or outsized and will be removed as a first step this spring, along with invasive vines seeded by.

Lenten Food Drive

During Lent, St. John’s will hold a Lenten food drive over the following three Sundays: February 28, March 6, and March 13. Donated items may be placed in the large bins inside the narthex and the Parish House office. Donations will go to Bread.
