From our organization as a parish in 1815 to today, St. John's Church has provided a powerful symbol of faith in the heart of our nation's capital.

Directions & Parking

Located at the corner of 16th and H Streets in Northwest Washington, St. John's is near the McPherson Square and Farragut North Metro stations. Limited street parking is available; free valet parking is offered for certain hours.

The Rector Search Committee received a number of applications during the application period, which officially closed on September 12. The group continues to review materials from candidates in order to progressively narrow the list for initial Skype interviews, site visits, and in-person interviews across.

The parish survey is complete and a summary for distribution is being prepared. Our parish profile has been forwarded to the diocesan Office of Ministry Transition and has been posted on its website together with application instructions, where they will remain for a number.
