From our organization as a parish in 1815 to today, St. John's Church has provided a powerful symbol of faith in the heart of our nation's capital.

At St. John's, we believe Christ is calling us to be a renewed church in a changing world. In worship, education, parish life, and social action, we seek to expand our horizons by serving God by loving one another.

Parish Community

St. John’s welcomes you to become an active participant in our vibrant Parish Community. We offer several monthly activities to fellowship and serve alongside our friendly parishioners throughout the calendar year. Use these opportunities as a way to learn more about the Episcopal faith, connect with new friends, and deepen your personal spiritual journey.

During the pandemic, the Latrobe Fellowship meets on the First Wednesday of the month, either virtually or in an outdoor setting. The other offerings on this page will resume when we are able to regather in unrestricted, indoor settings.
