The Latrobe Fellowship is an active, energetic, joy-filled group of young adults at St. John’s Church. Latrobers are single and married adults in their 20s and 30s who find themselves at different places in their life and on their spiritual journeys.
Developing and deepening relationships with God and other young adults is very important to us. We gather on the First Wednesday of each month at 7pm for a joyful celebration of the Holy Eucharist (Communion). Following the service we gather for dinner, fellowship, and an opportunity to learn about food, faith, wine, the Episcopal Church, and a variety of other topics throughout the year.
Throughout the year we also participate in a number of the parish-sponsored activities for the entire church; there are opportunities to volunteer and serve others in our church and community, and we come together from time to time for social gatherings, e.g. happy hours, skiing, baseball, and more! Latrobers also serve on Sunday mornings as readers, chalice bearers, Church School teachers, ushers, lunch cooks, and in many other ways.
Wherever you are in your life and on your journey of faith you are welcome at St. John’s Church.
