Desirée Stolar reflection

Reflection:

St. John’s is foundational structure of faith, wrapped in joyful love. We aim to raise our young interracial family with a fundamental understanding of God’s love and compassion for all. The way St. John’s uplifts its parish—from the longest tenure member to the newest baby—instills a sense of place for our children. St. John’s incorporates and uplifts children in small and significant ways that delights, educates, and encourages them. We wanted a parish home that not only had members of different backgrounds, but also included them in meaningful ways. Every time we drive by the yellow church, our children convey a sense of pride.
