Welcome to St. John's Church, Lafayette Square—a vibrant historic Episcopal church located across from the White House. We invite you to join with us for worship, Christian fellowship and outreach.

From our organization as a parish in 1815 to today, St. John's Church has provided a powerful symbol of faith in the heart of our nation's capital.

Care of Creation Meeting

March 17 @ 12:15 pm - 2:00 pm

The Care of Creation group will gather on March 17, after the 11:00 a.m. service on the second floor of the Parish House. You are welcome to bring luncheon from the dining room in the basement with you. We plan to finish our conversation by 2:00 p.m. All are welcome. If interested but unable to join us this week, please contact Joanne Hutton by email or 703-282-4964. The church charges us with making intentional decisions about living lightly and gently on God’s good earth. How will we take this to heart and put it into action, here and at home and work?
