Parish Lunch 101: Refresher Course and Tutorial

September 18, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

If you have never participated in preparing Parish Lunch or have gotten “rusty” over the Covid break, please join Holly in the kitchen for a tour, a review of the process, and menu ideas.

Our Parish Lunch tradition—one of the best opportunities for fellowship at St. John’s—is returning this fall, and we need your help to make it happen. We encourage individual members, families, groups, and ministries to sign up to prepare a meal. Hosts may be reimbursed for expenses or receive a tax receipt. Not sure what’s involved? Sign up for the following tutorials with coordinator Holly Sukenik:

Join Holly and those who want a supervised experience in preparing and serving Parish Lunch to host the first lunch of the year. To sign up as a host, take part in the tutorials, or receive a list of guidelines, please contact Holly Sukenik.

During the program year, which begins on September 11 and runs through early June, valet parking is available on Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Look for the valet sign at the corner of Black Lives Matter Plaza (16th Street) and H Street, NW. For more information:
