From our organization as a parish in 1815 to today, St. John's Church has provided a powerful symbol of faith in the heart of our nation's capital.

Located at the corner of 16th and H Streets in Northwest Washington, St. John's is near the McPherson Square and Farragut North Metro stations. Limited street parking is available; free valet parking is offered for certain hours.

September 13 Speaker Series with John Barry

Join us Sunday, September 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., for a discussion led by John Barry, award-winning author of several books including the best-selling The Great Influenza: The Story of the Deadliest Pandemic in History. An advisor to the Bush and Obama White Houses and to the United Nations and WHO on pandemic preparedness and response, he is a professor at the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. He will speak on The Great influenza Pandemic of 1918: Lessons Learned and Not Learned–and Where We Are Now. Following the discussion, there will be opportunity for Q&A.
