From our organization as a parish in 1815 to today, St. John's Church has provided a powerful symbol of faith in the heart of our nation's capital.

Located at the corner of 16th and H Streets in Northwest Washington, St. John's is near the McPherson Square and Farragut North Metro stations. Limited street parking is available; free valet parking is offered for certain hours.

September 20 Speaker Series with Christian Appy

Join us Sunday, September 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., for a discussion led by Christian Appy, professor of history and leading expert on the Vietnam War’s impact on American politics, culture, and foreign policy. The author of three books about the war, most recently American Reckoning: The Vietnam War and Our National Identity, he will offer his insights into the war’s place in America’s self-image. Following the discussion, there will be opportunity for Q&A.
