From our organization as a parish in 1815 to today, St. John's Church has provided a powerful symbol of faith in the heart of our nation's capital.

Directions & Parking

Located at the corner of 16th and H Streets in Northwest Washington, St. John's is near the McPherson Square and Farragut North Metro stations. Limited street parking is available; free valet parking is offered for certain hours.

An Update From The Rector Search Committee – December 28, 2018

The Rector Search Committee has completed its site visits and will be conducting final interviews in Washington with five semi-finalists across January and February. From there, the committee will present two to three candidates to the Vestry for ultimate determination. The progress of the committee can be followed on the Rector Transition page of St. John’s website. Please continue to pray that the Holy Spirit guides us throughout the Rector Search process.
