From our organization as a parish in 1815 to today, St. John's Church has provided a powerful symbol of faith in the heart of our nation's capital.

Located at the corner of 16th and H Streets in Northwest Washington, St. John's is near the McPherson Square and Farragut North Metro stations. Limited street parking is available; free valet parking is offered for certain hours.

Beverly Gage, Professor of 20th-century American history at Yale

Beverly Gage, Professor of 20th-century American history at Yale, talks about her newest book, G-Man: J. Edgar Hoover and the Making of the American Century. Gage is also author of The Day Wall Street Exploded, which examined the history of terrorism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She writes frequently for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The New York Times Magazine, and The New Yorker, among other publications.
