Cardozo Education Campus is looking for volunteers to meet with students and review their report cards. The conferences will take place on Wednesday, February 6, and Thursday, February 7. Training is provided. Volunteers can contribute as little as an hour or two or a full day or days, depending on their time constraints. The first day, February 6, is set aside for the International Academy. On that day, fluency in another language, especially Spanish, is helpful but not required. St.…

Volunteers are needed on the second Tuesday of every month, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., to help distribute food at Cardozo Education Campus. These free food “markets,” are sponsored by Communities in Schools in partnership with The Capital Area Food Bank. Volunteers help with registration, unpacking the food, assisting the families, and cleaning up. The job is easy and fun: you get to chat with numerous people, and you can wear comfortable shoes!
