Visit
St. John’s Lafayette Square is located at 16th & H Streets NW, Washington DC. The front doors to the church building are on 16th St NW (Black Lives Matter Plaza). The entrance to the adjacent Parish House is around the corner at 1525 H Street NW.
By Metro
McPherson Square (Blue, Orange, and Silver Lines) is a two-minute walk from St. John’s. From the exit at Vermont Ave NW & I St NW:
Walk toward the White House on Vermont Ave NW.
Turn right on H St NW to reach St. John’s Parish House.
Continue towards 16th St NW and turn right to reach the church front doors.
Farragut North (Red Line) is five minutes away. From the K St NW exit:
Head southeast through Farragut Square.
Continue down Connecticut Ave NW towards the White House.
Turn left on H St NW and continue east. The church front doors are across 16th St NW (Black Lives Matter Plaza).
Parking
Street parking can be difficult to find in our busy location, especially during peak hours. On Sundays, free valet parking is available from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM (June–August: 9:00 AM to noon).

Accessibility
A wheelchair-accessible ramp is located near the left side of the church front doors on Black Lives Matter Plaza (16th St NW). The Parish House and Office may be accessed by a lift to the left of the H Street entrance. Press the call button for assistance.
