Chorister Program
The St. John’s Chorister Program provides children and youth with outstanding professional choral training, music theory, and leadership development. Choristers become part of an intergenerational choir experience where people come together to offer sacred music of the highest quality in the praise of God.
Advanced Choristers
The Advanced Choristers are youth with unchanged voices typically in grades 7-12. They receive advanced musical training including private vocal lessons. They rehearse twice weekly on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and sing for worship regularly throughout the year. Membership is by audition.
St. Cecilia Choir
The St. Cecilia Choir is for children typically in grades 3-6. Using the curriculum of the Royal School of Church Music in America, they learn the basics of vocal production and music theory and rehearse weekly on Thursday evenings. Membership is open to all.
