St. John’s Speaker Series is a popular adult education offering held between services at 10:00 AM on select Sundays from September to May. Nationally noted individuals, from scholars and poets to world leaders and faith leaders, present on pressing issues of the day and impactful historical events to expand our knowledge as individuals and as a community.

Each February, St. John’s, Lafayette Square, the “Church of the Presidents,” hosts a multi-week deep dive into the life and times of one US President. This year, we’ll learn about Calvin Coolidge, 30th President of the United States (1923–1929).
February 11: Matthew Denhart, President of the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation.
February 18: Garland S. Tucker III, Trustee, Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation.
February 25: Amity Shlaes, Chair, Officers and Trustees of the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation.
